Taking Action on Messages
Once you have located a specific message (or multiple messages), you can perform various actions directly from the Log Search results page.
To take action on a single message, click the dropdown menu to the left of the message. To take action on multiple messages, use the checkboxes to select them, and then choose an action from the bulk action dropdown at the bottom of the list.
Common actions include:
- Release from Quarantine*: Deliver a false positive message to the recipient.
- Release and Train*: Deliver the message and train the spam filter to recognize it as legitimate in the future.
- Remove from Quarantine*: Delete a quarantined message.
- Block Sender: Prevent future messages from the sender from reaching the inbox.
- Whitelist [Add to allow list]: Ensure future messages from the sender bypass spam filtering.
* Release, Release and Train, and Remove from Quarantine are unique to emails with a Quarantine status. Blocked or Bounced emails cannot be released to the recipient and will need additional review. If you need assistance with this, contact support at vcgsupport@vcgcorporate.com or call 800-558-3054.
