How to update DNS within cPanel

If your domain's Name Servers are pointing to VCG's, you can update your DNS information within cPanel by following the steps listed below.

Important: Updating DNS records can impact your Website and/or Email hosting. Due to the technical nature of these updates, we suggest proceeding with caution. For this reason, our default settings do not allow you to update your DNS. You must request access to your DNS first by emailing VCGSupport@VCGCorporate.com.

Once you have access, you can follow these steps to update your DNS:

1. Log into your cPanel at cp2.vcgwebsitecp.com:2083. If you're not sure of your Username and Password, reach out to VCGSupport@VCGCorporate.com.
2. Once logged in, click on the Zone Editor option.
3. Click the Manage button on your domain name.
4. You can add additional records by clicking the + Add Record button.
5. You can edit records by clicking the Edit button to the right of their row.
6. Click the Save Record button when done.

Note: DNS updates can take up to 24 hours to propagate.
