This feature is only available for PRO Connect or Work Subscribers.
Dee the owl is VCG's AI Assistant. You can ask Dee questions related to your Customers, Job Locations, Jobs and Tasks.
Dee is currently only available to Administrators (non-Administrators will not have access to Dee).
To ask Dee questions:
- Click the reports icon in the main navigation bar.
- In the left sidebar, click on the Dee (AI Assist) option
- Enter your natural language questions or requests in the search bar. For example, "Which jobs are due this month?", or "Show me tasks that are overdue".
- Click the Ask Dee button
- Dee will then confirm your question or request. You can either continue by clicking on the “Yes, that’s Right!” button or, if your request wasn’t understood correctly, you can rephrase it by clicking on the “No, let me rephrase” option. Note: We are learning. If the response wasn’t as expected for any reason, please let us know.
There are no security implications to using Dee. Your company's data is never exposed to the AI engine. Where AI provides enormous benefit is in comprehending your English language questions and then, based on a knowledge of Work's structure - not your data but the structure in which it's stored - returning an appropriate query that Work can then run against your securely stored data to return relevant results.
