The sending and receiving of your VCG-hosted (Smartermail) email may be delayed due to Greylisting of accounts or the number of SPAM filters your mail must pass through before being delivered (including any virus/spam checks you are running on your local system).
Greylisting
All VCG-hosted email accounts are set up with Greylisting enabled by default as part of our efforts to combat spam.
SPAM filtering
In our ongoing battle against SPAM, VCG employs several layers of SPAM filtering, including the following checks:
- Cyren Premium Anti-Spam
- RBL SpamCop
- DKIM
- Domain Key
- SPF
- Reverse DNS
