As part of our ongoing commitment to provide best-in-class services and support, we will be upgrading the VCG hosted email server at 11:00 PM CST on November, 2nd. The upgrade process requires that the mail server be brought offline for approximately 1 hour.
You will not have access to your email during the upgrade, but any messages that are sent during this time will not be lost and you can expect to receive them when the server is brought back online.
Important: The SmarterMail upgrade may not be compatible with legacy email clients that are no longer supported by their parent company. Most notably, Microsoft Outlook 2003 through 2010 are no longer supported by Microsoft. Therefore, if you're using a legacy Outlook client, we strongly recommend that you upgrade your email client prior to the SmarterMail upgrade on November, 2nd. You can click here to learn more email client options. Also, please note that an email client is not necessary, as you can access your email via a web browser and internet connection.
