The header is defined as the area between the top of your browser window and the top of your content. It holds your store shopping cart, tagline, social media icons, shop online image, logo and navigation. Each Website design displays the logo and the header at different sizes by default. You can adjust both these values.
Adjust the height of your header:
- Click on the Website tab at the top.
- Hover over Site Design and click Header from the navigational drop down menu.
- Change the value of Header Height to increase or decrease your header height. Dimensions need to have "PX" behind them or this will not display correctly.
- To preview your changes without saving click on Preview Site at the top of the page.
- Click Save Changes button at the bottom.
Adjust the size of your logo:
- Click on the Website tab at the top.
- Hover over Site Design and click Header from the navigational drop down menu.
- Change the value of Logo Height to increase or decrease your logo size. Dimensions need to have "PX" behind them or this will not display correctly.
(Logo height cannot exceed 148px when a default logo is being used. Custom logos uploaded into the Website section can use any image size.) - To preview your changes without saving click on Preview Site at the top of the page.
- Click Save Changes button at the bottom.
Overlapping or fitting your logo within the Header:
If you would like the logo to fit inside the header area, make the logo height smaller than the header height. If you would like your logo to exceed the area of the header and overlap the next element, you should make the logo height larger than the header height.
